– SOLUTION: Restart the smartphone. If it does not solve the problem uninstall and reinstall the app. Also, make sure that your smartphone does not have ads blocking apps or similar. If this does not work, send an email to info@futurainnovation.it with the purchase code.
– PROBLEM: I purchased the priority service but the service is not enabled.
– SOLUTION: same as above.
– PROBLEM: I did not receive the real-time alert event if I live near the epicentre (and the earthquake was detected by the smartphone network).
– SOLUTION: test the real-time alert with the test button in the app. If the test alert does not work, reinstall the app. If the alert works, make sure that your smartphone does not block the notifications of the app. Also, battery optimization must be disabled for the app.
– PROBLEM: I have a priority service but I receive the alert later than other people who do not have the priority service.
– SOLUTION: this may depend on the Internet connection or on the smartphone. For instance, if the battery is low, alerts and notifications may be delayed.
– PROBLEM: I received the alert after the ground shaking has already started.
– SOLUTION: if you live close to the epicentre you cannot receive the alert in advance. Buying a Top10K or Top100K priority service might reduce the alert delay.
– PROBLEM: I fixed all the problems that the app told me to solve, but when I re-enter the app one problem is still there.
– SOLUTION: some smartphone models automatically change the app permissions. Check on the Internet if there is a solution for your specific smartphone.
